Skillwise – Online Courses

When I quit my job I wanted to learn new skills in my free time. I wanted to do it at any time that suited me from anywhere even the comfort of my own home without having to leave the house on a computer, laptop, tablet, Smart TV or even my phone.

I found multiple sites that provide educational material online. You could do any course in any area you chose. There was photography, design and marketing … etc. Some courses were free others cost money. It was worth the money. The courses were a lot cheaper than having to go to a venue or enrol in a school. With some industry IT courses you could do the course online then just sit the exam instead of paying thousands of dollars doing it the traditional way. If you had any questions you could just ask the instructor or in some cases post in a group. There is always someone willing to help.

I stumbled on this website. I am not even sure how. It is called SkillWise. The good thing about SkillWise that makes it stand out to me compared to other online training providers is that they offer course bundles. You can get some free or pay what you want to get part of the course bundle or you could pay the small full amount and get the full bundle on a specific topic.

I have enrolled for some web design and game design course bundles on SkillWise. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn something new who is pressed for time or wants to study from home. All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection to do any course. You can even do it on the bus, tram or train on the way to work or school. You can check out SkillWise here. Also, there is StackSocial which is associated with SkillWise that offers online training, digital and physical products too. For new gadgets, they have a site with the latest fun stuff called Citizen Goods. The only drawback is that you have to be in the US or Canada to order these physical goods and gadgets. As a workaround, you can set up a redirection service which gives you an address in the US and forwards your goods to where they need to go in any other country. Start learning something new today or create an online course if you are an expert in a specific field or get a new gadget using the links below. What will it be?

SkillWise: Online courses and course bundles.
StackSocial: Online courses, course bundles and digital products.
Citizen Goods: Cool physical gadgets.
